This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The hats and gloves I'm requesting will make a significant difference in my students' ability to focus on learning, especially during the colder months when many arrive at school without proper winter gear. When students are warm and comfortable, they're better able to concentrate in class, participate fully, and remain engaged throughout the day. My goal for this project is to ensure every student has access to these basic necessities, removing a barrier that can detract from their ability to succeed academically. My students are special because they are resilient, hardworking, and full of potential, often overcoming personal and financial hardships.
With these small acts of support, we can help them stay focused on their education and show them that their success matters.
