My Students

Our students are a bright bunch of kids who come from a variety of home structures and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our families are involved in their children’s education and play a vital role in supporting the learning that occurs in class each day.

Our students love to participate in engaging hands-on activities that allow them to be creative and have fun while learning new concepts.

It is my goal to inspire a love of learning that will extend beyond elementary school and prepare them for college and beyond.

My Project

I am requesting a megaphone to help facilitate our volleyball tournaments and coaching. The players are having a hard time hearing directions so it is important for their success that I utilize this resource to help them be successfully coached. In addition, I am also requesting plastic tubs and volleyballs to help our students practice and condition to improve their serving, setting, and passing skills. The tubs will be utilized as targets to help the students practice their aim, they will also be used at tournaments for organization and to keep the team's personal belongings together as they travel from court to court.
