My Project

My library is currently in its third year of operation. It is a wonderful, welcoming place where students can come to find a good book, complete make-up work, or just tell me about their day. I have avid readers who come in on a very regular basis, but there are students who never even think about coming to the library, and I hope to change that very soon. I've recently added a large bulletin board in the main hallway to market the library's services and keep students updated on library news and events.

A Cricut machine and Cricut accessories will help me create eye-catching bulletin boards that will keep students and teachers informed and encourage students to come check out books more frequently.

The bulletin boards in the library and the main hallway will help promote reading-related activities in and out of the library for the entire school. More reading equates to more learning and more joy, so it is a win on multiple levels. Many individuals, students and adults alike, are visual learners, and this is just what they need.
