Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our wrestling students have heart and are very dedicated and loyal to the sport. They share headgear which is not ideal but it's all they know and they do this without complaining. Our students work hard to balance their school work and time on the mat.

They consistently cheer each other on and have established a true brotherhood with each other.

No wrestling student loses because they are glad to have the mat time and not one of them take it for granted.

My Project

Our wrestlers look at wrestling as an opportunity to strengthen their mind and body. They take pride in belonging to a team and always look out for one another. If we receive the Snap Down Earguard supplies that we are asking for our wrestlers will feel more confident and won't have to spend time before a match looking for someone that has headgear to share.

We want our wrestlers to be able to focus on the techniques of wrestling and not the gear.

We have some exceptional boys and girls on our team and each of them appreciates what others do for them.
