Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First graders are amazing little learners. My first graders are energetic and enthusiastic learners and although most have taken off on their reading and writing, I have a small group that needs a little extra support. These word building mats and tiles are great interactive materials that I can use with this small group to help them build words.

Having a variety of materials helps students stay involved and eager to learn.

I love how I have two activities within one mat, they can build a word with the tiles and then use a dry erase marker to write the word. Thank you for taking the time to read our project and possibly donating to it. Wishing you a joyful spring season.
