As a teacher, I want to provide my students with the best education possible, so that they can be college and career ready. We are an IB school! What does this mean? The IB program encourages students to think broadly, beyond the boundaries of their communities, and to see themselves as members of a global society. These students are sure to be intelligent contributors to society as they travel through life.
Our low-income students deserve equal opportunities and the best education possible!
I love each and every one of my students, so this is why I want to give them the absolute best first year of school (kindergarten). Every day these kindergartners are putting their best foot forward while emerging themselves in their education. They are wiggly 5-6-year-olds filled with excitement for learning. Our Kindergarten classroom is a welcoming place where you will see young students taking action and responsibility for their own learning experience.
Kindergartners want to be engineers too! These magnetic building blocks will allow students to build and investigate shapes. It is crucial that in kindergarten we not only support our students with academic skills but also social emotional skills and problem solving.
These magnetic STEM blocks will teach students how to take turns, cooperate and share materials as well as develop new friendships.
Building with these blocks will encourage students to use and improve upon their fine and gross motor skills. Having these blocks available to students during stations will have a great impact for ALL students in All development areas.
