My Project

Last summer I read the book, “Building Thinking Classrooms” by Peter Lilydajl. I was inspired and determined to transform teaching and learning in my classroom. The results were transformative! The data has already shown that the students in thinking classrooms scored significantly higher on the state exam and there is evidence that the gap created by Covid is closing. I was fortunate to be able to get 20 whiteboard posters as shown in my classroom picture. The whiteboard posters were used heavily and were damaged by the cinder block walls. I would like a more permanent option so my students can continue to develop their thinking skills.
