This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are passionate and creative learners who possess a special affinity for LEGO bricks. They thrive in hands-on, experiential learning environments and eagerly embrace opportunities to explore their interests and express their creativity.
Their love for LEGO goes beyond mere play; it is a source of inspiration and a catalyst for innovation.
In this project, we are requesting a wide variety of Lego bricks for students to build their ideal recycling centers. These bricks will be used to provide students with the necessary materials to construct the recycling center and bring their creative ideas to life. We are also requesting different bins to store their prototypes before their final presentation day.
The LEGO Recycling Center will provide students with the opportunity to construct a miniature recycling facility using LEGO bricks. This facility will feature bins for sorting different types of recyclable materials, including paper, plastic, glass, and metal. Through this interactive project, students will learn about recycling awareness, waste reduction strategies, and the environmental benefits of sustainable practices.
