My Students

I teach courageous and dedicated students. My students come every day excited to work cooperatively and learn. After my students wrote out individual dreams for the school year, we collaborated and developed class norms of safety first, kindness is king, respect, encouragement, and responsibility that will help us reach our dreams.

I dream to provide my students with the best possible learning experiences where they can productively struggle and make mistakes.

Most of my students dream of confidence in math and science.

My Project

The geoboards will be used during math centers and give students the opportunity to work individually and with partners on fractions and geometry concepts. The geoboards allow students to build shapes and develop an understanding of the relationship between perimeter and area. The linking cubes can be used for algebra, geometry, fractions, and decimals. Linking cubes can be especially helpful to develop a conceptual understanding of the whole number by fraction multiplication.

I have requested fraction, perimeter, and area mathematics supplies to give my students the opportunity they need to learn kinesthetically.
