My Project

The use of a weekly reader magazine will help me continue to cultivate my classroom in a print-rich environment. In kindergarten, non-fiction text and text features can be tricky to teach the younger kids. A weekly magazine will put such print in their own hands! They will also have the ability to take it home and build up their own library for a print rich home experience!

With a weekly reader, students will come together and explore our magazine as a group.

We will: track print, learn new vocabulary, take turns and create a safe place for discussion and sharing.

Thank you for generosity in helping to put print in the hands of some of the youngest learners!
