Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their determination. Even when reading feels challenging, they never give up. They ask thoughtful questions, cheer one another on, and keep trying with incredible heart. Their curiosity, creativity, and courage remind me every day that growth matters more than perfection.
The diversity posters will create a warm, welcoming environment where every student feels seen and valued.
There’ll be daily reminders that each child belongs in our classroom.
The ball hops will support my students’ physical well-being by promoting aerobic exercise and endurance. As they time their hops and swing the ball in a circular motion, they’ll also build coordination, rhythm, and balance—all while having fun and staying active.
Reading Mr. Popper’s Penguins will spark their imagination and help them build confidence as readers. It’s a joyful, engaging story that encourages persistence and discovery, just like them.
