it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I’m an Occupational Therapist who travels to several schools each week, supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade. Many of the incredible students I work with are Neurodivergent and benefit from extra support to develop the foundational skills they need to succeed in school.
With your help, I can provide tools that make a real difference in their learning.
This project will give my students access to educational apps and a keyboard to practice and strengthen critical skills — including pre-handwriting, handwriting, and typing. These aren’t just academic tasks — they are essential ways for students to express themselves and fully participate in the classroom.
The apps will target important visual perceptual and visual motor skills, while the keyboard will help older students develop fine motor coordination, dexterity, bilateral coordination, and typing skills — all crucial for their academic growth and independence.
