My Project

My students come from all different cultures and have very limited economic resources. Many have experienced trauma. They deserve rich experiences that would build their background knowledge in science, help with reading comprehension, and contribute to a desire to be in school.

I want to give my students a level playing field for them to be successful!

With these science materials, I can work on improving their reading skills in our small groups in fun and engaging ways.

These kits will enable me to bring topics "alive" for them - and I've never met a student who didn't like science! With your help, my students will soar in their reading skills, in their love for learning, and will know that others truly care about them.
