My Project

The goal of the project is to empower my students with real-life skills that they can connect with related to hardware/software. By assembling a gaming PC, students will develop a deeper understanding of the components, compatibility and troubleshooting in A+ certification. This will help prepare them for the A+ certification exam while they are developing a gaming PC they will be proud of!

Students will physically assemble the PC, including mounting the CPU, installing RAM, connecting cables, securing components, and learning about cable management and proper grounding techniques.

Students will install the operating system and necessary drivers.

Students will power up the PC and test its functionality. This will also help students with their troubleshooting skills, as they will need to identify issues, check connections, and resolve common problems along the way.

Building a gaming PC isn’t just about assembling hardware; it’s about fostering curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology. Let’s empower our students to create something remarkable—one that leaves a lasting impression and becomes a core memory of their high school experience.

By embarking on this project, students will not only build a gaming PC but also build confidence, camaraderie, and a deeper appreciation for the inner workings of technology.
