My Project

I had the privilege to attend The Ron Clark Academy just a few months ago. One of the many things I took away from the amazing training was how important it is to build community in our school.

We are going to create a house system to help all students feel a sense of belonging.

The students will gather together as houses where they learn about each other, how to serve one another, and about friendship. Each student will earn points for their house to achieve set goals. In order to create this unity, I am asking for green shirts that we will have their house name. Of course, we will have to create a cheer for our house and green pompoms will make so much fun. I truly believe that kids can and will do great and marvelous things if we teach them how to support one another. I know that implementing a house system will help our students feel like they have a place where the belong.
