My Project

My third graders are beginning to build a love for reading. They are exploring new books and series this year. With your help they can keep exploring more text.

Building my classroom library up is the perfect way to engage my student's desires for reading and help create a life long love for reading.

Books can take students to imaginary places and open a world of adventure. But, sometimes it can be discouraging to read when the books and words seem to drown them in difficulty. My goal is to fill my classroom shelves with books of different levels so every student has the opportunity to find a book that is just right for them.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
