Building Minds with Manipulatives.

Help me give my students VIAHART Brain Flakes 500 Piece Interlocking Plastic Disc Set to help with our students’ with fine motor skills.

My Students

I work with the youngest learners in an urban preschool setting. My students are a diverse group of young learners ages 3-5. Most come from high poverty homes. Seventy-eight percent of the students at my school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch.

I have students with special needs including communication impairments, students with autism, other health impairments, and students with motor concerns.

It is just a magical experience working with these students each day, and watching them grow. These students come to school eager to learn and brighten my day.

My Project

We are asking for building manipulatives to help challenge our students’ minds. Each day we spend 20 minutes at the table to work on our fine motor skills, and learn to problem solve. We like to ask for toys like VIAHART Brain Flakes 500 Piece Interlocking Plastic Disc Set, so the students to create structures, and build what they have in mind.

We have grown as a class, and do not have enough manipulatives to share with everyone.

Our students love to do table work each day. We ask for these donations to help build the minds of our growing students.
