Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Trying to teach the whole student goes beyond simply math, reading, and writing. We as teachers also need to support their emotional health in addition to allowing them to explore creativity with the use of their imagination. In our grant we will be supplying our scholars with Knex Building tools, Kinetic Sand, Legos, as well as Marble Run Tracks for creating working structures that allow marbles to travel through!
With these tools, you are helping to supply them with tools that will allow them to express their true ideas.
These will help the students use their hands and create different creations from structures to works of art. While they are doing this, they are also working on their fine motor skills and dexterity of the fingers which can also help with their penmanship!
