Building Math Skills to Become Financial Wizards

My Project

Help me continue to differentiate for my 2nd graders. We are fortunate to have a strong standards-based system in K and 1st that has been in place for many years. 2nd grade is working diligently in our second year with a standards-based badge book to have a strong system in place.

I have a wide range of levels in my classroom this year and these activities will help me meet each of my students' needs.

The Trifacta game will be used with my below level students to practice fact families. The Money Match cards will be used in our math rotations for independent and partner practice. I have 6 students who are ready to work on multiplication, so the multiples posters will be a resource for them. The pop board games will be used to practice adding coins. And the storage bins will help keep all the materials organized and readily available for students.
