My Students

I teach 3-5 year old children in a prek classroom. I love children this age because they are learning so much so quickly. They are eager and excited about new things. Small children enjoy being read to. During this time and with proper books you can teach them about feelings, how to communicate with others. They learn listening skills, how to answer questions , and ask questions to clarify what they heard

My Project

Getting these materials in my classroom will help my students to build the literacy skills needed to help them be successful in Kindergarten and beyond. They will be able to play games to learn their letters and letter sounds. Hear stories they may not have heard before. Learn how to hold a book, how to treat a book, and other important literacy skills. They will be able to listen and sing along to some very popular children's music, Learning rhythm and rhyme. These children are very hands-on and love to be read to individually as well as in a group
