My Project

Every child deserves the chance to explore the world through rich, engaging stories. In my therapy room, we work every day to build students' speech, language and communication skills, and one of the best ways to support that growth is through books and literacy materials. This project will provide my students with new, high quality books and resources that will enhance our speech and language therapy sessions.

Having access to a variety of texts not only builds critical literacy skills but also fosters imagination, vocabulary development, comprehension and confidence in communication.

My students have unique learning needs and benefit from repeated, meaningful exposure to language in engaging and accessible ways. Your support will help create a language-rich environment by putting engaging texts into their hands -- texts that they can see themselves in, connect with and grow from. Together, we can open new doors for them and help them become stronger readers, thinkers and communicators. Thank you for your support!
