My Project

I love how curious, resilient, and determined my students are, especially when they are given the right tools and encouragement to build confidence in their learning. Many of my students benefit from hands-on, visual experiences that make challenging math concepts more concrete and easier to understand.

Fraction tiles will help students visualize and compare fractions and develop a stronger understanding of equivalent fractions and operations with fractions.

Dice will provide opportunities for engaging math practice while building number sense, fluency, and problem-solving skills. Array mats and other math manipulatives will help students model multiplication, division, place value, and other foundational concepts in a concrete way before moving to more abstract strategies.

These resources will make intervention instruction more interactive and engaging while giving students multiple ways to understand and practice skills. Most importantly, they will help students experience success, build confidence, and see themselves as capable mathematicians.
