This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are seeking funding support to acquire an iPad for our Pre-K classroom to enhance early STEM learning opportunities. This device will be used to introduce students to foundational concepts in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through interactive, age-appropriate applications. Your support will help provide our young learners with meaningful, hands-on experiences that prepare them for future academic success.

Access to this technology will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills at a crucial stage in their development.

Our Pre-K students come from predominantly low-income households, with many families living below the poverty line. Due to limited access to technology at home, our students often have fewer opportunities to engage with digital learning tools that support early STEM development. Providing an iPad for classroom use will help bridge this gap by ensuring equitable access to high-quality, interactive learning experiences that foster critical thinking, creativity, and foundational STEM skills. We will be using the iPad in our classroom for interactive activities that will enhance our curriculum.
