This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are my world because they are the future of OUR world! Each child is an individual and I emphasize learning about themselves in my classroom. In order to do this, I have do differentiate their learning in order to maximize how they learn and what they retain. They are a special group of people that are going to run our country one day and I want to make sure they receive all the tools to do so successfully.

My Project

This three day workshop will help me grown professionally, as it offers new techniques and concepts to apply as teachers. It will help me offer advice to other teachers as well as bring new, fresh ideas to my classroom. I strive to be an innovative teacher, renewing my methods and reflecting on what has worked throughout the years.

Attending this workshop will refuel me as a teacher!

It is imperative that we re-energize and refill our bodies and minds over the summer to become the most effective teachers we can be. This workshop will provide not only the necessary learning, but refueling needed as well!
