This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are AMAZING! They are ready to learn every day. My students are active learners who love having hands-on experiences. They like to show their thinking and creativity through creative play. My students are wonderful because they are motivated to learn.

They understand that making the best of each learning opportunity will help them learn more and having a growth mindset makes them the best learners.

My Project

STEM blocks are a great way for students to show their creativity. This also gives the much needed practice to build relationships with their classmates. By sharing the blocks and building together they will practice social skills that they were not able to practice last year with online learning.

These materials will help them improve their descriptive and sequential writing.

I will ask them to write about what they build and present it. Having these opportunities will increase their motivation and will inspire them to write and present their project.
