Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They thrive when learning is engaging and celebrates their accomplishments. Many are still developing confidence as readers, and they benefit from encouragement and hands-on experiences that make reading enjoyable.

The dog tag necklaces will recognize reading milestones and motivate students to keep reaching new goals.

Microphones will give students the confidence to practice fluent, expressive reading while making read-alouds fun and interactive. Reading stuffies will create a cozy, inviting reading experience by giving students a special reading buddy to enjoy during independent reading time. Together, these resources will help foster an environment where students are excited to read, celebrate their progress, and build a lifelong love of literacy.
