My Project

I work at a Title I school. We currently do not have a rug in our classroom. My third-grade students love to work together. I want to provide the students with a safe and comfortable place to read together, complete activities, and gather for community-building activities. With this rug, students can sit on the floor for teacher read-aloud, morning meetings, reading with peers, and team-building activities. A new rug would offer me more opportunities to incorporate more community-building activities within the class. A classroom rug would also make the classroom more inviting for students.
