Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-grade teacher at a Title I school, I strive to create a classroom where every student feels supported, valued, and excited to learn. My students learn best through hands-on activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and active participation. These engaging materials will help make lessons meaningful while building important academic and social skills.

In addition, I want every child to enjoy recess with fun equipment and have access to a healthy snack during our daily snack time, especially students who are unable to bring one from home.

My goal is to provide a positive, welcoming learning environment where every child has the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed every day.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
