My Project

The "Building Bright Minds" project seeks to enhance the indoor recess experience for students by providing a STEM fort building kit. This kit will offer students the opportunity to engage in hands-on, creative play while learning fundamental principles of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

Through collaborative fort building activities, students will develop problem-solving skills, spatial reasoning abilities, and teamwork capabilities, all while having fun during rainy day recess periods.During rainy day recess periods, students will have the opportunity to use the STEM fort kit in designated indoor spaces.

Teachers and staff members will oversee the activities, providing guidance and encouragement as needed. Students will work in small groups to plan, design, and build their forts, applying STEM concepts in a hands-on, experiential manner.

Project Objectives:

Promote STEM Learning: The primary objective of this project is to promote STEM education in an engaging and interactive manner. By providing students with a STEM fort building kit, we aim to introduce them to basic concepts of engineering, architecture, and design principles.

Enhance Indoor Recess Experience: The project seeks to transform indoor recess into a valuable educational opportunity. Instead of passive activities, students will actively participate in constructing forts and structures, fostering creativity and innovation.

Encourage Collaboration and Teamwork: Through collaborative fort building activities, students will learn to work together, communicate effectively, and problem-solve as a team. This will promote a positive classroom environment and strengthen social skills among students.

Provide Alternative Learning Opportunities: The STEM fort kit will serve as an alternative learning resource, especially during inclement weather when outdoor recess is not feasible. It will offer students an opportunity to continue learning and exploring STEM concepts in a dynamic and engaging way.

With your support, we can create an engaging and educational environment that empowers students to explore, innovate, and succeed.
