Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten students are curious, creative, and excited to learn every day. In our Dual Language Immersion classroom, they learn best through hands-on experiences that encourage them to explore, collaborate, and think critically. Every child brings unique strengths, ideas, and enthusiasm, and I strive to create a classroom where they feel confident, engaged, and inspired to grow as bilingual learners.

These classroom resources will help transform everyday lessons into meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.

Classroom mailbox organizers will encourage independence and responsibility by giving each student a designated space for their work. Dot markers will strengthen fine motor skills while making literacy, math, and art activities more engaging. Measure Worms will help students develop early measurement and comparison skills through interactive math lessons. Magnetic tiles will inspire creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and STEM exploration as students design and build together. Copy paper is an essential classroom resource that allows me to create learning materials, assessments, take-home activities, and family communication throughout the year.

My goal is to provide my students with an organized, engaging classroom where they can learn through exploration, creativity, and play. These resources will help build independence, strengthen foundational academic skills, and create opportunities for every child to succeed.
