My Project

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, it has become increasingly apparent that many of our students are facing challenges in developing crucial social-emotional skills necessary for effective interaction with peers of varying abilities. Your generous support can play a pivotal role in bridging this gap.

At our high school, the library serves as a vital hub for student engagement and enrichment.

Open before school hours, it offers a welcoming environment where students can not only access academic resources but also engage in various activities. Here, students gather to complete homework assignments, socialize with friends, and immerse themselves in the world of literature. Remarkably, many students choose to spend their morning hours in the library rather than heading to the cafeteria, underscoring its importance as a central gathering space.

By introducing LEGO sets into this vibrant setting, we aim to further enrich the student experience and promote holistic development. Through collaborative LEGO building sessions, students will have the opportunity to forge new connections, cultivate empathy and tolerance, and work together towards shared objectives. This initiative aligns seamlessly with our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive school community.

The overwhelming interest shown by students in building with LEGO underscores the potential impact of this project. With over 6,000 student sign-ins recorded in the past three months alone, there is a clear demand for avenues for stress relief and meaningful student interaction. Your contribution to this endeavor will not only provide students with a creative outlet but also empower them to develop essential social-emotional skills that will serve them well beyond their high school years. Together, let's create a space where every student feels valued, included, and equipped to thrive.
