Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With our new screen-time guidelines for school, students need meaningful opportunities to create, build, experiment, and solve problems through hands-on learning.

Every child deserves the chance to see themselves as a capable creator whose ideas are worth building, testing, and bringing to life.

While technology remains an important learning tool, tangible experiences allow young learners to discover concepts through curiosity, collaboration, and creativity.

I am requesting design STEAM kits, boat engineering and design kits, building kits, LEGO-style building sets, magnetic blocks and tiles, slime materials, and math counters. These resources will give students opportunities to investigate ideas, make predictions, test solutions, and learn from mistakes in ways that simply cannot be replicated on a screen.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
