My Project

The first days of first grade are filled with excitement, curiosity, and a little bit of nervous energy. My goal is to make each child feel confident, prepared, and eager to learn from the very start but to do that, they need the right tools in their hands.

This project will provide essential items like crayons, crayon boxes, pencils, erasers, and scissors so every child can begin the year ready to learn, create, and grow alongside their classmates.

I also want to make our “Meet the Teacher” day a special and welcoming experience. By providing fun first-grade pencils and small celebratory keychains, I can help students feel excited and proud to be part of our classroom community from day one. These small touches go a long way in building confidence and creating a positive first impression of school.

Additionally, I am requesting a gift card for Teachers Pay Teachers so I can access engaging, high-quality resources for Meet the Teacher and the first weeks of school. These materials will help me create meaningful lessons, organized routines, and a warm classroom environment that supports every learner.
