Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I collect resources for teaching Gifted and Talented children at three Title I schools this year, I am focusing on our curriculum which includes modern art and artists like Jackson Pollock, architecture with focus on the famous Frank Lloyd Wright, famous bridges and American landmarks, our National Parks, and so much more.

My goal for this project is to provide my students with amazing stories and hands-on activities to support our STEAM filled curriculum.

I hope to provide bridge building manipulatives and books to extend their learning as they apply what they've learned about bridges, buildings, etc. These Gifted and Talented children know no bounds when it comes to their creativity and I can't wait to see what they create this coming year.
