My Project

As a teacher of many native Spanish-speaking students, I want to provide Spanish and bilingual books that reflect the experiences and cultures of my students. These resources will not only enrich our classroom library but also serve as powerful tools for promoting literacy skills, language proficiency, and cross-cultural understanding.

Research suggests that when children read in their native language, they develop stronger foundational reading skills, leading to more successful transitions to reading in additional languages.

With your support, I can create a vibrant literary space where my diverse learners feel valued, engaged, and empowered to excel academically.
