My Students

I am a first year teacher at this school. It is a group of students in a city, and is in a small neighborhood that is near the ocean. There is a large immigrant population. In the school the students get acclimated with the English language and literature about all different kinds of places and topics. They also use different modes to explore different subject matters in all areas.

Having different types of manipulatives in order to explore in their learning is an educational experience that students need to further their quest for knowledge.

My Project

Students will be able to create and manipulate LEGOs in order to build team work and utilize S.T.E.M concepts. Exploring the different ways they can build and create. The science, technology, engineering, and mathematics can be encompassed with teamwork and figuring out how to create with certain prompts and instructions. How to have a creative edge and be unique within an instruction and think outside of the box.

Students will be able to generate their ideas and make them come to life with their creations.

Students will be able to apply knowledge of their outside world and what they have learned in thinking about mathematics and spatial awareness.
