Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kindergarten is a time of exploration and learning. For many of these kindergarteners, it is their first time to work cooperatively with peers, and their first time in an academic environment. Blocks provide a concrete and creative way for students to build mathematical and engineering concepts while they are learning to express themselves socially and academically. While building, students will be learning to work and communicate cooperatively, building rich connections with one another through play.

Donating to this project means you are providing the blocks and organization students need for interaction and hands-on academic learning.

The shelf and shape labels will help students learn organizational skills in addition to geometry, allowing students to work cooperatively and feel successful. These blocks allow for so many engaging academic learning opportunities.

Please help me bring such learning to life through this Blocks Center!
