Building Better Intonation in Band

My Project

The band students in our program are very diverse in culture, musical background, and socio-economical status. Many of our students have been struggling with getting readjusted to being in school full time in person. This has definitely shown in the band classroom; however, our students have worked extremely hard at getting their fundamental techniques back to and beyond where they were prior to the pandemic. Their passion for music continues to grow even after a few difficult years. We often see them working with each other before and after school. We are extremely proud of their accomplishments, but even more proud of the people we have seen them become.

The Harmony Director's highly diverse features would enrich the musical equity for our students.

The Harmony Director is a powerful music education tool designed to be used in the classroom by the Band Director and students. With the HD-300, student scan learn aspects of intonation, tone quality, and rhythm and also use it as a rehearsal tool to record and analyze their performances.

It is an all in one rehearsal guide with a metronome, a tuner, keyboard, and much more. It helps us play in time and in tune at the same time, and is matched by no program or instrument currently available.
