Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My English Learner and homeroom students come from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and they deserve a classroom that reflects, celebrates, and supports who they are. This project will provide essential learning supplies, educational games, cultural flags, and world maps to help students build language skills while strengthening their sense of identity and belonging. Snacks will help meet basic needs so students can focus and fully engage in learning.

By creating a welcoming, culturally responsive environment, I aim to foster confidence, collaboration, and academic growth.

These resources will support vocabulary development, speaking practice, social-emotional learning, and global awareness. Most importantly, they will help students feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive in school and beyond.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
