This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love including books in our music lessons. They are a great way to expose children to a variety of stories, to theme lessons, and to experience rhyme, rhythm, and story in the music classroom. Books in the music classroom are a means for creating a relationship between story and sound, extending our experiences with literature, and increasing our exposure to topics related to music.

This project is aimed at providing our bilingual and Spanish-speaking music students with books that will increase our musical knowledge and augment our musical experiences.
