Building a Modern Math Classroom

Help my students thrive in our new Modern Math Classroom. These supplies will help us create a student-centered learning environment with printed materials, headphones for self-paced video lessons, and encouraging snacks to motivate throughout the day.

My Project

My seventh-grade math students are curious, resilient, and eager to succeed when they have the right tools. This year, we are transitioning to the Modern Math Classroom model, which allows students to learn at their own pace while building confidence and independence.

To make this possible, we need additional printing supplies for guided notes, practice activities, and mastery checks that students use throughout each unit.

Headphones will allow students to watch instructional video lessons without distracting classmates, giving them the flexibility to pause, rewind, and learn at a pace that works best for them. Small encouragement snacks will help keep students energized and focused, especially during longer class periods and after-school support sessions.

These resources will create a classroom where every student feels supported, engaged, and empowered to take ownership of their learning. Your generosity will help provide an inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to grow as confident mathematicians and lifelong learners.
