Building a Classroom Environment that Encourages Development and Learning
My students need a dollhouse, paint, Behavior Management Pocket Chart, and a variety of hands-on educational materials to stimulate their creative minds.
The students I serve are enrolled in a Title 1 school. The majority of my students come from low-income families. Most receive free meals, based on the families’ economic status. They receive a “weekend food bag” to help off-set the cost of food at home. The school is amazing at giving every child the resources needed to succeed.
My students are eager to learn and explore new things.
They are curious and adventuresome. They love new experiences. I want to provide them with every opportunity to learn and grow. My goal is to provide them with a safe, fun, educational classroom where they can explore and learn new things.
My goal is to providing the children with multiple educational opportunities. Art supplies are necessary for expression of feelings and creativity. They also encourage children to work together and share materials. The letter activity set is an added tool to help improve literature skills. The doll house is important for socializing and learning from one another. Children can come together and pretend they are running a house together.
My Project
The doll house furniture is needed to complete a set. We have a doll house with no furniture or dolls. Children learn through play and this is another avenue to encourage learning. The children would love to play with the doll house.
The art supplies are great for allowing children the freedom to express themselves.
Through art, children can create what makes them happy. The paint is a good way to help express themselves. Social skills are formed through art as it encourages children to share and interact with one another. By sharing the sensory dough and kit the children are able to form friendships and learn to share.
The behavior chart is a good way to promote classroom safety and encourage students to follow class rules. It is a good reminder of proper classroom behavior and rules.
