Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I actually working in a amazing school where I have students from different backgrounds and cultures. Therefore, from the begining of the year, my priority is to build a community in my kindergarten classroom. As a multicultural teacher, I provide opportunities to my students to express themselves by different ways, and help to build their identity through a respecful learning enviroment.

In kindergarten, students love to tell thier own stories.

These storytelling puppets and the box of makers will help my students to build different skills such as language, listening, analytical skills, comprehension, darwing, and litercy skills.

In fact, Storytelling helps to build a positive effect in the classroom community since allow to my students build thier identities, tell their own stories, and appreciate one to anothers. Also, is a powerful way to adressing issues such as race, bullying, racism, culture, gender, and more.

My goal is to give the opportunity to build those important skills through a trusting classroom community. Please help me make this project shine in each unit of study, and provide the opportunity to my students to be a storyteller.
