My Students

Our students are thoughtful, creative and are constantly wondering about their world. They come from a community that is rich in history and culture diversity. Many are being raised in homes of hardworking, multigenerational support systems. Please help me enrich these students’ lives by offering them developmentally appropriate opportunities in the classroom which will challenge them to inquire, experiment, discover and explore their natural environment and use technology appropriately. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics will be the areas of focus with the use of these learning materials.

My Project

Our young children are curious about the natural world and love a good challenge! At this age, they are learning to identify a problem and construct their own solutions. The Click Builders Classic Prisms and will offer open-ended play to construct and deconstruct their physical models of bridges and buildings. The Dynamo Dominoes and Ramptastic sets will be used to explore cause and effect. Each student will have their own Stem Journal to record their findings and explore the real life challenges through the eyes of a civil engineer with the When I Grow Up STEM set. These materials are sure to bring Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to the forefront of our class projects.
