My students need ladybugs and butterfly kits for our classroom. These students study the life cycle of butterflies and ladybugs but have never gotten up close and observed them!
I have 20 fun and energetic students who love to be in school. They love to work on reading and writing, but we do not have any science materials. I want them to be able to explore the world around them and learn about bugs!
We do not have any science materials for the classroom, and they would benefit from exploring insects.
The students are great about using what we have, but we need bugs and science materials to explore. They are unique and love to learn about new things. I believe that they should have the opportunity to learn about science. They need engaging and fun materials that are science-related.
My Project
I love to explore insects and how they change throughout their lives, and I know my students will as well. They love fun and engaging ways to explore science and the world around them. They also love to share their knowledge with others.
This science kit will be used by 70 students across the grade level at my school.
The students will explore and discuss the differences between butterflies and ladybugs and get to set them free at the end. They will use their knowledge to better explain the differences between living and nonliving things. The students also will be able to draw and write about the butterfly and ladybug life cycles through these hands-on/eyes-on tools!
