This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the years of teaching I have watched my students grow more into reading when I have done novels as our reading curriculum. I’ve watched them read more and understand what they are reading. Novel studies help the students to learn more words and ask questions about the story to get a better insight.

The students have loved reading this story and I want to continue getting students excited about reading every year.

A class set of this book will allow me to continue reading these stories with them each year and get them more excited about reading on their own.
