This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have had the opportunity to utilize bubbles during play-based therapy sessions and these activities provide a resource for incredible engagement in learning! These bubble blowers are amazing! These tools grab students’ attention, stimulate thinking skills, and activates learning. Positive emotions are portrayed throughout structured exercises. Learning vocabulary from basic words (bubble, blow) to advanced terminology (solution, mixture, surface, circumference, etc.), following multi-step directions, predicting outcomes (wind, speed, direction, etc.) are just a few of the language activities to be addressed. They can also be utilized as an incentive for student success. I really cannot explain just how powerful these items are within therapy sessions. They should be a staple for any classroom. I have found students to be more engaged and exhibit increased curiosity in learning. It helps create an environment based on hands-on inquisitive learning. Activities can be addressed throughout the school year as weather conditions do not impact the use of bubbles. They are “inside” - “outside” materials and relevant to countless learning concepts. Bubbles are enjoyed by all of my students!!! I appreciate the possibility of you supporting the funding of this project. It is certainly a wonderful way to encourage and develop a love of learning!
