Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

What I love about my kindergartners is that they are always excited and eager to learn. I teach in a low-income, Title I district. These students come from different economic and supportive backgrounds.

When they enter my classroom, they are entering their second home.

Our class is a family, united to face our learning endeavors together and to help each other learn along the way, leaving no child behind. Kindergarten is fun! It is meant to be an exciting time where students are exploring the world around them through the content areas.

My Project

Positive reinforcement is an incredible way to encourage students to do their best! This year has been a tough year and my students have been working really hard in the classroom. They enjoy getting rewards!

Getting rewards help increase positive behavior and encourages my students to work hard.

These prizes and gumball machine reward system will help keep my students engaged this school year. I want them to continue to improve their academics, behavior, and social emotional awareness. I am looking forward to getting them new rewards and increase their school experience.
