This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my six years of teaching history, I have discovered that the best way for students to learn is for them to create their own understanding of the stories we tell in our classroom. Whether we are making posters about the Civil Rights movement or drawing vocabulary cards about important activists in history, my students gain a deeper appreciation of our country's history when they learn to express it in their own way.

Your generous donations will directly impact the lives of my students by providing them with essential classroom supplies that foster their creativity.

I am asking for your help to secure materials such as markers, color pencils, poster paper, and our own classroom printer so that my students can continue growing and expressing themselves while engaging with the stories that make up the history of the United States.
