Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My school is in the Bronx, located in a high need community. Thus, all children in this school are eligible for the Federally funded free lunch.

As we know, students learn from real world experiences. However, due to Citywide budget cuts and an impoverished community we lack the funding to send our students on this great opportunity. Students will get to experience our nation's history first hand. These students are learning this year about our nation. They learn about the formation of our country, and how it currently works. Our students will get to experience this first hand.

The resource that is at our disposal is the Debolt Unlimited Student Tour company, which can provide a package deal - a more cost effective solution.

During this time where the focus is on our nation's capital, your support, will allow our students to witness history firsthand.
